Dry Eye Education and Resources
Dry eye has become a major issue in vision care and is increasingly attracting research resources. In 2007 the International Dry Eye WorkShop (DEWS) was a landmark event that brought together contemporary knowledge about dry eye and generated a number of important scientific papers reviewing the area. In 2017 a second meeting, DEWS II, was conducted to update these papers and issue new recommendations. These included:
- Definition and Classification of Dry Eye Disease
- Assessment & Diagnostic Methodology for Dry Eye Disease
- Management and Therapy for Dry Eye Disease
Meibomian Gland Disease
